Recreational vehicle insurance

We understand the importance of peace of mind when you head off on the road. That’s why we offer personalized insurance solutions. Our specialist insurers can cover every type of recreational vehicle, from trailers to campers, motor homes and more. In Québec, recreational vehicles are subject to the auto insurance act, just like cars; and homeowners must also have the minimum liability insurance to cover bodily injury and property damage.

Keep in mind, too, that your coverage will be insufficient once you leave the province. Since trailers and motor homes can travel anywhere in North America and Mexico, you need to find out just what your insurance covers you for. Outside of Québec, a person who causes an accident can be sued. In the US, where legal action is based on your personal assets and your liability at the time of the accident, you could face an expensive lawsuit. And while, Mexico, additional coverage can be purchased at the border, we don’t recommend doing so, since you have no way of knowing whether the insurers you’re dealing with are creditworthy. Your best bet is to take out insurance here in Québec, before you leave.

Our experts agents are at your disposal. They’ll take all your travels into account and ensure you a worry-free trip!

We also insure stationary trailers. We have a great many interesting products to offer — so give us a call!
